I bought this at the store with my friend between Aug-Sept last year, and after using it for a couple of months, I figured it’s time to share my thoughts. Here’s my review:
Pros:
• Works wonders for frizzy hair like mine! It smooths out my hair, and I love it. While it doesn’t completely straighten like a flat iron, it definitely gets the job done.
• Compact and super convenient to bring anywhere. I never travel without it! Just make sure to pack it in your carry-on, not your checked luggage.
• I also keep it in my office for quick touch-ups, especially on days when I’m out for long hours - humidity tends to make my hair frizzy again, so this is a lifesaver.
• Safe to use - you won’t risk burning yourself.
Cons:
• It heats up pretty slowly when set to 180°C.
• The battery drains quickly - if you use it for more than 15 mins, it dies.
• Charging via a laptop doesn’t seem compatible, as it shows “P99” on the display. I’m not sure what that means, but I recommend plugging it into a power outlet instead of using a computer.
• Initially, I thought using a different brand’s cable was the issue, but it turns out that’s not the case.
Overall, I’m happy with the product despite the hiccups. It’s definitely been a game-changer for managing frizz on the go! But really wished the battery wouldn't die fast and quick in heating up.

I got mine in time for my japan trip! Had great easy, fuss free styling... all day, great hair day...but sadly, in my turn trip from Fukuoka to Tokyo, it was confiscated! The reason being Fukuoka doesn't permit the device was the battery is not detachable. It was a short 12 days great hair day use... love it but can't buy one for now. I will definitely share my experience to my friends!
Seems like the mini styler does not work as good as advertised. Hair does not curl in nicely at all. Rather disappointing. 😥
