Tried and definitely can be used in Japan. However, it would stop intermittently when in use and then auto re-start. I am not sure why but it happened every night.
Bought the ProTraveller so that I can bring it everywhere I go, including Japan, or on cruise and not worry about voltage or no-good hotel hair-dryers. Tried it at home and wow, dry my hair at least 50% faster than my usual 2200W hair-dryer and the shape of hair so much better (I have wispy ends that often “runaway like mad”). Loving it so far… it’s also great that I can dry hair asap so that I can get back to my kids.
Stryv Airflex dries up my long hair faster than I have expected. Easy to use with the Straightening Paddle Brush as well as the Auto Wrap Barrel. I am eager to try the remaining accessories soon. I will 100% recommend Stryv Airflex to whoever that want to have a good hair style.
