What is Lingzhi?


Lingzhi has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries to improve health and promote longevity. Lingzhi mushrooms have more than 400 different nutrients. Major active ingredients include polysaccharides like beta-glucans and triterpenoids like ganoderic acid, which are compounds that have immunomodulatory, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. How it boosts your immune system

Stryv Lingzhi contains polysaccharides like beta-glucans that encourages production of different white blood cells [1]:

B CELLS - Adaptive white blood cells that produces antibodies

T CELLS - Adaptive white blood cells that can develop into different subtypes that work together to attack foreign antigens

NK CELLS - Innate white blood cells that ingests foreign microorganisms and releases enzymes that kill them. The first line of defense during an infection.

These white blood cells work together to improve both our innate and adaptive immunity and fight against infections and diseases.

In addition, lingzhi polysaccarides also display antioxidant properties and protect immune cells from oxidative damage.

How it lowers blood cholesterol

Lipids like cholesterol are fat-like substances in your body tissues and blood that in excess, increases the risk of heart diseases or blocked arteries (otherwise known as high blood cholesterol).

Stryv Lingzhi contains triterpenoids like ganoderic acid that reduces blood cholesterol [2] by regulating the amount of lipids in the bloodstream [3] by inhibiting sterol regulatory element-binding proteins (SREBPs) [4], which are involved in the synthesis of cholesterol, fatty acid and triglyceride.

At the same time, beta-glucans lower blood cholesterol by burning them off [5]. It does so by preventing bile acids from being reabsorbed effectively and facilitating its elimination. In response, the liver has to convert cholesterol from the blood to produce more bile acids. This process decreases blood cholesterol levels.

How it lowers blood sugar

Beta-glucans reduce blood sugar concentrations by increasing cells' sensitivity to insulin [6], which plays a major part in regulating the usage and storage of blood sugar for energy [7].

Without beta-glucans, cells can develop resistance to insulin overtime [8] and become unable to effectively regulate this process, resulting in blood sugar concentrations spiking in the bloodstream and causing diseases like diabetes to develop.

How it lowers blood pressure

In addition to lowering bad cholesterol, Stryv Lingzhi also relaxes blood vessels to ease blood pressure.

Lingzhi triterpenes like ganoderic acid help protect the endothelial cells, which can be found in the lining of blood vessels and inhibits the activity of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) [2] that constricts blood vessels and causes blood pressure to rise.

With ACE being regulated, the blood vessels are able to relax, decreasing blood pressure.

Organic Lingzhi Cracked Spores

Lingzhi has a hard cell wall structure,  much like the protective shell of an egg, which keeps the essential nutrients in a powdery form. Lingzhi spores are the fine powdery seeds of the mushroom which are released upon maturity for the duration of 10 days in a year. In order for these nutrients to be released, the spore shell has to be completely broken and the actual spores cracked. Stryv's Lingzhi cracked spore powder is only collected once the lingzhi mushroom has become mature via the low-temperature cell wall breaking technology reaching 99% efficiency. Studies have shown that the body’s absorption of the cracked spores is greater than that of the uncracked version.

Lingzhi Extract Powder Concentrate

Lingzhi extract powder concentrate is a timely harvest of mature fresh fruit body of the lingzhi mushroom, after drying with hot water extraction (or alcohol extraction), vacuum concentration, spray drying technology, obtained lingzhi extract powder.

Vitamin B1

Thiamin (thiamine), or vitamin B1, is a water-soluble vitamin. It plays a crucial role in the growth and function of various basic cell functions and and the breakdown of nutrients for energy.

Vitamin B2 also known as Riboflavin is water-soluble that is found in grains, plants and dairy products. OUR HARVESTING

Our organic plantation is located in the forests of the Wuyi Mountains in China. Our lingzhi is grown according to Di Dao principles through log cultivation using natural duanwood as the culture medium and using the qualified mountain spring water for irrigation. We grow only one lingzhi mushroom on each piece of duanwood per year to ensure that each mushroom fully absorbs the nutrition.

Our method draws on the essence of Traditional Chinese medicine, modern technology and efficient extraction to ensure the purest quality of Lingzhi in every capsule. Our lingzhi herb goes through a process of extraction before it is secured in a capsule. We utilise 3 ways of extraction: water extraction, alcohol extraction and steam distillation to extract the medicinal goodness from the fruiting body of the mushrooms.Our extraction plant is designed in accordance with the newly revised drug GMP standard. 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I take lingzhi? 

For recovery - If you're recovering from an illness or injury, the suggested dosage is 2 capsules daily, before meal intake. Continue until you have fully recovered.

For maintenance - If you're in good health and want to reap the benefits of lingzhi (i.e. increased energy + a stronger immunity), the suggested dosage is 1 capsulte daily, before meal intake. 

Please consult your physician if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or are taking any medications. Discontinue use if adverse reactions occur. Store away from excessive heat and humidity.

What's in the box?

There are 6 blister packs in each box with 10 capsules per blister pack.
